Nova Scotia’s Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Regulations will soon be updated to align the regulations with Canada’s overall WHMIS framework. Changes include adopting the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
The Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration Safety is seeking feedback from organizations, employers and employees about the proposed changes to the Nova Scotia WHMIS regulations. Your feedback will provide valuable perspective on the proposed changes.
