Industry association champions gender diversity, equity and inclusion with CANS Women in Construction Forum

DARTMOUTH, NS | The Construction Association of Nova Scotia (CANS) is thrilled to announce that registration for the CANS 2024 Stanhope Simpson Insurance Women in Construction Forum is now open. Scheduled for October 29, 2024, at Best Western Plus – Dartmouth, this pioneering event will bring together industry professionals to connect, inspire, and support women in the construction sector.

CANS Women in Construction Forum prioritizes the experiences and perspectives of women while welcoming attendees of all genders. The event highlights the growing importance of creating a strong network and community among women in the construction industry. This is more than just a networking event — we’re building lasting support systems and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Featuring insightful speakers, a panel discussion, and facilitator-led networking exercises, the forum promises a dynamic and engaging experience with activities carefully designed to foster discussion and forge valuable relationships within the industry.

Recognizing the unique challenges women face in this traditionally male-dominated field, CANS is committed to fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
