Reflecting on National Truth and Reconciliation Day 2022
/in front/by Alison ClackFriday, September 30, 2022, will mark Canada’s second Truth and Reconciliation Day. The day honours the children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. It’s a day to listen and explore the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and stories of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

/in front/by Alison ClackHurricane Fiona is expected to merge with a trough and transform into a hurricane force post tropical cyclone on Saturday. The combination of Fiona and the trough will produce very heavy rain beginning Friday afternoon with the heaviest rain overnight into Saturday. Flooding and washed out roads are likely in some areas.
