Province Changes Process for Specialized Worker Exemptions

When there is urgent and critical work in Nova Scotia that requires specialized skills that are unavailable in Atlantic Canada, the Province will allow workers with those specialized skills to come from outside the region to do the work.

Stanhope is only the second female to serve as chair on the Association’s governing body in its 158-year history.
