About the Project:
The Halifax Transition House Association’s (HTHA) largest program, Bryony House is the oversight and operation of a 24-bed emergency shelter for women, with or without children leaving situations of intimate partner abuse in HRM and surrounding areas.
The work for this project includes construction of a wooden frame, three-storey, approximately 16,000 sq ft (including a developed basement) building for the HTHA (owner), which will be located on Lot 5A 112 Tacoma Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In addition to the wood-frame facility, the work includes identified site works and related landscaping. The three-storey facility also includes a below-grade (finished basement) floor to be used for service and storage purposes.
