COVID-19 Update for CANS Members – April 22, 2021

As you are aware, the number of cases of COVID-19 is quickly rising in Nova Scotia, particularly in HRM. It is more important than ever to remain vigilant and do our part to help curb the spread of the virus and keep our colleagues and family healthy and safe. Today, Dr. Strang and Premier Rankin addressed the province and introduced new restrictions and measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19.

CANSnet Project Preview: NS21-0608 – QEII New Generation Project (HI ED Administration Offices Relocation)

The redevelopment of the QEII Health Sciences Centre is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to rethink and rebuild the way we deliver health care. It is a massive, multi-year project that’s laying out how we’ll meet the health care needs of Nova Scotians for the next 50 years. It will also allow services to be moved out of the ageing Centennial, Victoria and Dickson buildings on the Victoria General (VG) site of the QEII.
