As of Sept. 25, the process for business exceptions for “specialized workers” has changed. When there is urgent and critical work in Nova Scotia that requires specialized skills that are unavailable in Atlantic Canada, the Province will allow workers with those specialized skills to come from outside the region to do the work.
The Construction Association of Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Victoria Stanhope, president and CEO of Stanhope Simpson Insurance, has been appointed as 2020-2021 chair of its Board of Directors. Stanhope is only the second female to serve as chair on the Association’s governing body in its 158-year history.
Villa Acadienne is a Home for Special Care, situated along beautiful St. Mary’s Bay in the Acadian municipality of Clare. What began as a 45 resident home in 1975 has expanded to an 86 resident home, including one respite.
