CCA Un-Conference

The Canadian Construction Association welcomes you to The Un-Conference! This special high-calibre, home-based forum has been designed to showcase the sessions, award winners, expert speakers and thought leadership that you didn’t get to experience in person in San Diego.

Glean valuable insight from interviews with Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, on how infrastructure will play an important role in the federal government’s COVID-19 economic recovery plan; and with Mandy Rennehan, CEO and Founder of Freshco.ca, on the skilled trades shortage and fostering diversity in the workplace.

Gain access to informative moderated panel sessions on the emerging political landscapefinancing innovation and the challenges around attracting youth to the industry.

Celebrate the individuals, associations and companies honoured with a 2019 CCA National Award. We are happy to turn our awards ceremony into a virtual experience, complete with presentations, acceptance speeches and videos so we can shine the spotlight on their valuable contributions to the industry.

CANSnet Project Preview – St. Mary’s Apartment Restoration Project

This historic property is located in Inverness on the west coast of Cape Breton. The building was originally St. Mary’s Hospital, spearheaded in 1920 by Stella Maris priests Rev. Alexander L. MacDonald and Rev. John B. Kyte. The hospital opened May 24, 1925, after the Sisters of St. Martha in Antigonish sent a contingent of nursing nuns, affectionately known as the Inverness Brigade. Nearly a century later, St. Mary’s holds a food bank and nine affordable apartments. Follow this Project: NS20-1168!
