Statistics // Nova Scotia Building Permits Increased 35.5% in November 2021

In November 2021, Nova Scotia’s total building permits (residential and non-residential) increased 35.5% to $275.4 million. Halifax permits increased 82.2% to $202.7 million. Outside the city, permit values decreased 21.0% to $72.7 million.

News // 2022 World Cup Stadium Built Out of Shipping Containers

Nearly 1,000 shipping containers make up Qatar’s modular arena. The goal will be to dismantle and reassemble the Stadium 974 in a new location or repurpose it as several smaller venues after the international soccer tournament.
