Proof of Vaccination Required for CANS AGM Attendees
In alignment with the Province of Nova Scotia’s Proof of Vaccination mandate, CANS will be adopting this measure for our in-person 159th Annual General Meeting taking place at the Halifax Convention Centre on September 29th. The safety of our staff and attendees is of the utmost importance to us and attendance at this event is considered non-essential and for that reason we feel comfortable making this decision.
A copy of your CANimmunize record showing two doses of vaccine (administered on or before September 15, 2021) will need to be presented upon check-in at the event. Please have this ready either printed or on your phone (a screenshot works well). To access your proof of vaccination records visit this link https://novascotia.flow.canimmunize.ca/en/portal and enter the last four digits of your health card number and your email. We will not be asking for any confirmation in advance or will not store any record of your personal information, but visible proof upon check-in will be mandatory to enter the event.
Further safety measures will be in place including (but not limited to) increased signage, social distancing, easy access to hand-washing stations and hand sanitizer, and masks being mandatory when not eating, drinking or seated.
We thank you for assisting us in prioritizing the health and safety of our attendees. For details from the Province on vaccinations and what makes you considered fully vaccinated please click HERE.
