The Building Futures for Youth program was developed as a partnership between the Construction Association of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency, the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the Nova Scotia Community College, the Nova Scotia Road Builders Association, and Construction Safety Nova Scotia.

- Dena Hueston, Director of Human Resources, rcs construction (Host Employer and BFY Champion)
Dena is a well-rounded HR professional demonstrating leadership in full cycle human resource management. Both university and college educated, and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with over 25 years of progressive work experience working in several industries, Dena focused her career on human resources in 2009 and is a self-starter using exceptional communication and active listening skills while promoting effective negotiation and best-case solutions.
