About the project:

Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia requires professional residential renovation and construction contractors to support its Home Modification Program. This program provides renovations to the homes of WCB clients across the province with the objective of providing a safe and accessible home to those in need. Renovations include accessible bathrooms, accessible kitchens, decks, ramps, and powered chair lifts.

This Request for Supplier Qualifications for Standing Offer (“RSO”) is an invitation by the Workers’ Compensation Board to prospective Proponents to qualify in accordance with the Evaluation of Responses for eligibility for the purpose of establishing a standing offer list (the “Standing Offer”) for Residential Construction Services providing renovations to homes across the province. SOW’s will be issued on an as required basis for the term of the agreement.

The Residential Construction Services include:

  • Electrical
  • Mechanical / HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Landscaping
  • Architectural
  • Medical Assist Devices

Residential Construction Services are required all across the province of NS:

Western Zone: Annapolis, Digby, Kings, Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties.

Northern Zone: Colchester, Cumberland, Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough counties and East Hants Regional Municipality.

Eastern Zone: Cape Breton, Victoria, Richmond and Inverness counties.

Central Zone: Halifax county and West Hants Regional Municipality.
