Mandatory updates to your first aid kits required by August 1

The Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration has announced revisions to workplace first aid safety requirements which include amendments to the contents of workplace first aid kits. These changes include a few additions and changes in number of some supplies.

Workplaces should refer to the noted changes when inspecting their kits to ensure they are in compliance with the current standard and regulations.

Important! Compliance with the new standards will be mandatory August 1, 2024.
